To God be the glory

Lord, Your mercy endures forever. I am evidence of this.For I deserve no good thing, yet you have blessed me continually. You have sustained me in times of trouble. You have fed me in times of hunger. You have lifted me from the pit of hell. There is no god like you. You are the God of my salvation, the Lord of my life. Glory,majesty, and praise belongs to you alone. You are able to give sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf, speech to the dumb, and life to the dead. There is nothing beyond your reach. You are a God of wonders. To God be honour. to God be praise. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.

A lesson in fellowship

Why is it that we argue with each other rather than praise the Lord together?

Do we really think this is the way God intended it?

If I tell you my favorite food is chicken-n-dumplins, will you hate me if yours is beef stew?

Acts 2: 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship,and in breaking of bread,and in prayers. 46 And they, continued daily with one accord in the temple,and breaking bread from house to house,and did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart. 47 Praising God,and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Heb 13: 1 Let brotherly love continue.

These verses do not suggest that we be tolerant of sin. These verses do suggest we(Christians) be tolerant of each others differences. We are not all exactly alike. Instead of resisting each other, let's embrace each other. It was Christ who shed his blood for us.... That was enough for God, shouldn't that be enough for us. Sure we will disagree on minor issues,(that's good) that's what keeps us sharp. Can't we all agree that Jesus paid the penalty for our sins? Can't we all just agree on that?

For Your Glory

Lord, I have been given a great gift. You gave me life. You gave me joy. You gave me happiness. You have given me so much to rejoice over. You have given strength to the feeble. You have restored my soul. My cup runneth over. I don't know how much time I have on this Earth. However long I have, May I use it FOR YOUR GLORY.

I love you Lord

Lord, You have been so good to me. I thank you for all that I have. You are just and true. There is no God like you. You are righteous and merciful. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to choose you. Though you knew what choice I would take, You still gave me a choice. You did not twist my arm, or force my allegiance. You said "choose this day whom you will serve." thank You Lord for not giving me what I deserve; for I deserve death and Hell. You are a God that cannot be explained. You defy all logic and understanding. You are Greater than I can imagine. You are worthy of all praise. Have mercy on my pitiful soul. Cast me not from your sight: for I would surly die. Reach down and lift me from the stench of my sin. My weakness is more than I can bear. Oh Lord my strength, cover me with thy loving kindness. Lord forgive me of my iniquity. Let me praise thy name continually. I LOVE YOU LORD.
