A lesson in fellowship

Why is it that we argue with each other rather than praise the Lord together?

Do we really think this is the way God intended it?

If I tell you my favorite food is chicken-n-dumplins, will you hate me if yours is beef stew?

Acts 2: 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. 46 And they, continued daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, and did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart. 47 Praising God,and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Heb 13: 1 Let brotherly love continue.

These verses do not suggest that we be tolerant of sin. These verses do suggest we(Christians) be tolerant of each others differences. We are not all exactly alike. Instead of resisting each other, let's embrace each other. It was Christ who shed his blood for us.... That was enough for God, shouldn't that be enough for us. Sure we will disagree on minor issues,(that's good) that's what keeps us sharp. Can't we all agree that Jesus paid the penalty for our sins? Can't we all just agree on that?

  1. We should try to get along. Christ died for us. He made each one of us unique. Let us love each other as Christ loves us.
